The Data-Pack(er) has been designed as a versatile platform to accommodate a wide variety of data-storage requirements. The Data-Pack(er) can be left to collect data for more than 4 years and can be configured to either stop logging or to continue logging and overwrite old data when the memory is full.
The Data-Pack(er) is designed so that no physical connection is needed between your PC and weather station. The Data-Pack(er) can handle remote modem operation and can even be removed from the weather station altogether to be downloaded and/or configured independently at a separate location.
In addition to its data storage functions, the Data-Pack(er) can also be set to simultaneously provide real-time data output enabling users to utilise both the data-logging capabilities of the Data-Pak(r) with the real-time display (wind-roses etc.) from our WeatherView software (also enclosed).

Datalogger

  • Store data at selectable intervals (1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 60, 120, and 240 minutes)
  • Calculate averages over storage interval
  • Dedicated PC not required
  • Compatable with modem or radio communication for remote stations
  • Operation by power supply (Powersupply not included)
    • Back up battery in the event of power failure

WeatherView Software

  • Display, storage and analysis of data
  • Multiple graphs can be plotted on the same screen for up to 28 days from any start-date
  • Alarm can be set for each of the data parameters i.e. Temperature less than 0°C
  • Selectable storage intervals
  • Calculation of wind chill dew point etc.
  • Graphical display of wind direction
  • Wind data can be viewed in either Wind Rose or Wind Range format
  • Data can be logged over time
  • View data as Multiple Graphs or in table format
  • Print display screens at any time
  • The bit-map picture can be changed
  • Screen colours can be changed
